Middle Era

The learned and assiduous follower of the "Lore of the Shuffle" will know that the previous challenge was met by the: Fearless; Neckless; Ruttiless, Emperor John (H-B) and the King under the Mountain. A most successful enterprise, yet it remains a fact that the exact letter of the Challenge had still only been met by two mighty challengers. Fear not gentle reader, the ale of the Parish was vouchsafed and Le` Shuffle fully certificated - unlike the "Dark Hour".

For the year that was to be known as "Regenerations" it was planned that not only would all meet the exact challenge (or forego the Certificate and live thus a year of great shame), but that having reviewed the Video evidence, the sublime Phantom bestowed a new and wondrous challenge upon the Leader of the little Folk. For King Les would undertake the strongest pint in each plus a ½ of all others - this to be termed the "Chaser Challenge". Indeed, it was rumoured that should this not prove sufficient trial, he would have a pint of all in each the following year!

Nor was this the only development, such is the allure of the Challenge, that Emperor Johns esteemed consort, Saint Vic of Roth, would be exploring and feasting in the Asian parts with the Supporters of the Shuffle. Thus the role of honour increases, regenerations indeed....

Who then was this new supporter? The one who though a Geoffrey, is in league with the French!
